Dear Erasmus student, First of all Savania wants to Welcome you to Ghent, and our lovely dorm. What is Savania? Savania is a sorority for all of the inhabitants. We organize different activities such as parties, sport and cultural events. Everyone can come to these activities. With savania we want to bring all the people of our dorm together.

Some rules that will make your stay much more pleasant:

• Smoking is forbidden in the whole building. Outside there is a place where you can drop your cigarettes.

• Parties or big meetings are not allowed in the building and the courtyard.

• Keep silent between 11 pm and 6 am.

• The front and back door must always be locked.

• It is forbidden to let other people stay over (showering, cooking, sleeping).

• Keeping pets is not allowed.

• It is forbidden to use heating machines, frying machines, fondue set, toasters, candles, etc. in your room or in the common parts.

• Select waste according to the instructions of IVAGO. Every tenant uses a 15-liter bag of IVAGO in his/her room. PMD (hard Plastic, Metal       cans, Drink cartons), glass and paper must be offered separately to the correct containers.

• There is a schedule telling who is responsible for cleaning the kitchenettes and kitchen. It must be followed. Whenever it will not, a fee       of 25 euro will be kept from the deposit.
